your space. your people. your time.

be honest. you deserve a little time each week that’s just for you.

a familiar group of moms. conversations that go beyond the everyday. a consistent space to vent, laugh, listen, or simply show up exactly as you are.

the first chapter of mommyyeah

a standing invitation to show up as you are

we’re starting small, with intimate conversation groups for moms who want a little more connection and a lot less “trying to catch up during a play date” talk. and while these first groups are just the beginning, we’ve got bigger plans for mommyyeah right here in decatur and intown atlanta. think real friendships, creative nights, social gatherings, and a community that grows right alongside the women in it.

‍ ‍

weekly groups

we’re starting with weekly, 75 minute virtual conversation groups where you can connect, share, and spend a little time focusing on yourself.

the conversations don’t have to end when the meeting does. our hope is that the friendships and connections you make here continue well beyond the group.

real connections

you’ll meet with the same group of women at the same time each week giving you something familiar to look forward to.

small group format

facilitated conversations

each group is thoughtfully guided to make space for honest conversations, different perspectives, and the things we don’t always get to talk about.

consistent schedule

each group brings together 5-7 moms with shared experiences or stages of motherhood, keeping things small enough for everyone to feel included.

we’re starting virtually, but have big plans for creative nights, social gatherings, and opportunities to connect in person around decatur and intown Atlanta.

more to come

one thing on the calendar that’s yours.

so, how does this work?

01 / find your fit

tell us a little about yourself, your current stage of motherhood, what you’re hoping to get out of the group, and when you’re available. we’ll use your preferences to help find a group with shared experiences and a schedule that works for you.

02 / get your group

once we’ve identified a group that seems like a good fit, we’ll share the details with you, including the meeting schedule, group format, and what to expect. you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and make sure it feels right before committing.

03 / make it official

once you’ve found your group, you’ll complete your membership registration and secure your spot. from there, you’ll receive everything you need for your first meeting and have a standing place in your group each week!

a few good questions.

01 / what if I’m nervous about joining a group?

totally understandable! you don’t have to be outgoing, know exactly what to say, or feel comfortable sharing everything right away. our groups are thoughtfully facilitated to comfort levels. you’re welcome to participate at your own pace, whether that means talking, listening, or a little of both.

02 / what if I can’t make every meeting?

we put a lot of thought into bringing moms together based on their preferences, experiences, and stages of motherhood, but we also know that finding the right fit isn’t an exact science. if you’re not feeling quite at home in your group, reach out! we’re happy to talk through your experience and explore other available options.

03 / what if my group doesn’t feel like the right fit?

we get it. kids get sick, schedules change, and life happens. while we encourage regular attendance to help maintain consistency within the group, we understand that missing a meeting occasionally is inevitable. your membership reserves your spot in your group, even when you can’t make it.

04 / is mommyyeah the same as group therapy?

nope! mommyyeah is a facilitated motherhood community, not a psychotherapy or mental health treatment service. our groups are designed to give moms a consistent space for honest conversations, shared experiences, and mutual support. while meaningful topics may come up, the focus is on community rather than clinical treatment.
